Alwoodley is recognised as one of Britain’s finest inland courses. It was designed by Alister MacKenzie, the famous golf course architect. He left a legacy of classic golf courses – Alwoodley was the first.

History

Established in 1907, the MacKenzie-designed layout remains today, though lengthened to 6,900 yards.

The weekday green fee is £55 in the winter, £75 in spring and autumn, and £95 in the summer.
